A Christmas Gift

There are some people who come into your life for a reason. Some become family, and you look forward to seeing their smiles and their hugs every morning. Well, that is Angel to me. She has become like a second mom to me and someone I know has my back, loves my kids but will put me in my place at the same time with a smile as big as the room.

Angel though is going through chemo for her colon cancer and is now sitting in the hospital. It kills me to know she is there but anyone and everyone who knows her, knows she is a fighter, she is always positive, has a bit of smartass sense, but most of all is a loving soup.

Today I was able to head down to Fontana to see her and I was beyond happy I was able to. She looks different but still had on that smile that amazes me.
