Another year

It's July 19th which means Kane is 16. It's so strange to think my little 6 lb 10 oz with a bit of red hair and hazel-eyed baby is this age. When I saw Kane for the first time, it was right then I felt our family was complete. I had the perfect 1 girl and 1 boy thing going on. He keeps us on our toes. . We had many experiences like the epoxy all over new couches and DVD player, broken collar bones, running on cafeteria tables, goose eggs on his forehead, severely sprained ankle yet still playing soccer, fractured bones, surgical procedures. Kane is creative in his own way and will give the shirt off his back if it means someone else has what they need. I am so proud of who he is becoming as a young man and can't wait to see where he is in a year.

Today is not how he thought his birthday should be going as we are currently sitting at Children's Hospital but we will make it up to him when he is feeling up to it. Happy Birthday, Kane!!
