As we do every year we went to Kane’s school event for fall. Encore host a yearly carnival with different themes each year. Different grades, clubs, or classes run booths where you can purchase food, drinks, or photos. Some independent consults like Paparazzi Jewelry will pay for a booth and sell their items.
Normally, the kids will end up working the whole evening or a shift and then go hang out with friends. All the different art classes or conservatory will display their artwork. In the past, it has been Reagan’s items from Photography. This year it was Kane’s photos.
I get excited for both the kids when I see their artwork displayed. I know how self-critical they are of their work, which isn’t a bad thing as it means they actually care. When I was in school we didn’t have things like this so it wasn’t a thing. That has something to do with why I get excited also.
