This is much needed. Since I left the big kids I have really questioned what I wanted to do. Fight to pass the CSETS, go back to teaching Preschool, or leave the field of education completely.
I have only not been working since Summer break so it hasn't been a long time but it's been a time of big emotions that sometimes I have no clue how to regulate.
About 4 weeks ago I applied with the County of San Bernardino with their Preschool Services Department as a Teacher II. It's not 100% where I wanted to be as I have been fighting like crazy to pass these CSETS but it's a foot in the right direction to get to where I want to be.
Human Resources just called to offer me a 12-month contract position at one of the 3 sites here in Victorville. As long as everything goes through at a decent pace my tentative start date is August 17th.
