Three Pups and a Mom

Today was eventful, to say the least. I don't regret doing what I did but am sad to know that I didn't get to love on these babies more.

I was on my way home from work yesterday, not even off base yet when in the middle of the road I saw things moving. I ended up slowing down when I noticed another car had stopped on the side of the road trying to call for help. Around their car came 3 little pups and their mama. I was trying to get them to stay with me as I was looking at places we can call who might have base access and was not having any luck. As I was on the phone another car stopped and the lady was trying to do the same as I was. Well, tonight resulted in the lady who stopped driving the dogs all the way to my home, to which I gave her money as this mama and her pups were caked with mud.

During the night this little family destroyed the garage, Abrams lost his ever-loving mind, and last but least their owners were found. They had gotten out as the owner was visiting his wife in the hospital. His daughter had seen my post that was looking for owners or resues and called her dad to ask if he had seen the dogs. They ended up driving to Victorville to pick up the dogs. They offered Mike to take one but he said no which in all honesty is a good thing as we just don't have the time for any more pets.
