To Breath or Not To Breath

Well, it has been a while since I have been here. There have been many appointments and some answers as to why breathing is a lot of work.
My last lung function test showed my lungs are at 73% compared to what they were before getting COVID at a 95%. It has been an interesting 10-11 months and I can honestly say I am ready to leave it all behind me. To combat the drop in lung function results in the use of 3 inhalers.
The worst part about this is not the inhaler but the fight I had to do in order to have my employer accommodate and follow the doctor's orders. In fact, due to their choices, I was unable to even telework for two weeks. It was frustrating, to say the least, not even just for me but for my coworkers and students. I felt bad that I was unable to be with them as it was getting closer to the end of the school year.
I eventually made it back to work in person and it has been a few weeks. I have used my inhaler as I should be with bouts where I had to use the rescue. It is not getting better but not getting worse. I guess you could say I have good days and bad days. I somehow was assigned to do both in-person and online Summer school classes, plus covering breaks. I am so tired by the end of the day that I come home and crash. On my weekends I have no energy to do anything but try to make them productive.
For now, I will keep doing what I have to do.
